I’m Mario Miracolo, born on October 7 of ‘89, and I began my musical journey at 14 years old. At 18, I was accepted into the Zadkine Pop Academy in Rotterdam. My hunger for knowledge was not yet quenched there, so while I was still taking lessons at the Pop Academy, I also had 3 years of lessons with teachers/mentors outside of school.

I have been teaching since I was 19 and started my own teaching practice in 2011 under the name Mario Miracolo’s Gitaarschool. That is now called DeOnlineGitaarschool.NL.

After giving 1 on 1 private lessons for almost 15 years, it is time to expand. With the same personal approach as before, but now online. Teaching through Microsoft Teams, not a simple webcam, but with a DSLR camera. Excellent image and sound quality for a low price.

Between the ages of 15 to 32, I played in various bands and theater shows. The most famous of these was Pearl Damn, where I worked as lead guitarist. Pearl Damn was the biggest Pearl Jam tribute band in Europe, and I am incredibly grateful that I was able to be a part of it. Between 2010 and 2011, I also taught at the music school “DePiano” in Tilburg.

In 2020, a number of my students started taking their guitar classes remotely. It took some getting used to for them at first, but so far, all experiences have been positive. That is why I decided to share the joy of playing the guitar with as many people as possible, regardless of distance.

In addition to the online lessons, I also have two YouTube channels where I regularly post lessons and do livestreams. The Dutch channel is called @deonlinegitaarlesnl

and the English-language channel is @FretVibes.
